Whether it's riding horses or attending a football game, I have always loved spending my time in a sporting environment, so it came as no surprise when I chose to be a Sports Management Major. I am a Junior at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and spend my extra curricular time as the captain of the western team on the University of Tennessee Equestrian Team. I aspire to one day have a career in Sports Management, but until then I volunteer with the Vol Network guarding the new 2013 field level signage. As a student we are told to do whatever we can to gain experience, and that's exactly what my aim is. I follow when I can, I lead when I can, and I volunteer when I can in hopes that the experience and knowledge I gain here will lead to a profitable career.I have worked in fast food, retail, and now work during my off time at Lighthouse Independent Living Inc. I work when ever and where ever I can, because if there is one thing I have learned thus far, it's that you never know where an experience might lead you.
