Power coordination for new cell sites on private property and in the right of way. Responsible for initial design assessment, updating zoning/construction drawing with power design, power company application process, delivery of power to the site.

Project Engineer for electrical construction projects. Submitted requests for power shutdowns, estimated project change orders, completed project Operations and Maintenance Manuals, completed estimating take-offs for bids and job budgets.

Managed team that completed preliminary power design and submitted power applications to various power companies for power to new small cell sites in the public right of way. Team also determined who owned existing streetlight/utility poles for possible small cell attachment.

• Completed entitlements for over 100 priority service affecting antenna replacements nationwide from filing online applications with tower vendors, through regulatory approval, amendment, zoning and building permit to NTP.• Managed site modification from conception to completion by estimating project costs, writing contracts and specifications for labor, materials and equipment and securing bids to achieve set goals.• Directed the completion of several hundred cell site upgrades working collaboratively with upstream and downstream stakeholders for successful completion.• Oversaw the daily logistical needs to include ordering of equipment, T1 delivery, power upgrades, scheduling, market orders, RF testing and turn up, document retention, and invoice approval/closeout.

• Directed construction activities of new site build turf vendors.• Conducted audits of over 2,300 sites by third party vendors, managed modifications to cell sites, and provided war room construction management support for LA Market UMTS Launch.• Established the project scope and managed the process by requesting contractor bids, submitting purchase orders, reviewing and uploading closeout documents, and auditing completed work.• Resolved post construction property management issues related to site conditions, collocation issues, utilities, and compliance with conditions of approval.

• Supervised the design and construction of telco and power service for new cell sites and upgrades pertinent to the construction services and equipment installation for AT&T and Nextel.• Performed audits on several hundred existing T-Mobile sites for UMTS upgrade ensuring the achievement of desired results.• Partnered with internal team members, utility company personnel, construction contractors, third party vendors, jurisdictions, and clients to produce on-time deliverables within allotted budget. • Designed construction sketches and verified they were properly reflected in the draft for submission to the utility companies for contract execution.

• Managed the deployment of telco and power services to new Verizon Wireless cellular sites in Southern California.• Determined telco and power feasibility, completed site walks with utility companies and forwarded approved utility plans and drawings to the A&E for inclusion in the construction drawings.• Worked with contractors to ensure site construction passes inspection for T1 delivery and meter set as quickly as possible so that telco and power would not delay site turn up. • Completed applications and maintained contracts, purchase orders, and bill payments for new service.• Revised internal and external trackers and participated in conference calls to ensure site plans were on scheduled for the desired completion time.

• Directed and managed telco and power services for SBA’s Verizon Wireless turnkey project in Southern California.

• Served as the Construction Manager for Sprint PCS new cell site builds by ordering environmental reports and structural analysis, conducting bid walks, requesting quotes for monopoles, supervising construction, processing change orders, and completing close out packages.• Provided consultation as a Utility Manager for the Cingular 2002 modification supervising three Utility Engineers to ensure the site was prepared for telco inspection.• Led the projects in meeting with telephone and power companies, completing applications and billing, communicating with contractors and electricians, and coordinating meter installation.• Supported the T-Mobile project in the New York/New Jersey market by functioning as their Utility Manager.

• Participated as member of the initial build out team for the network directing interconnect, site construction, and turn up and development of systems and practices for the network.

• Oversaw the cell site development in Los Angeles, Ventura, and San Bernardino markets from inception to completion of the network operations.
