I have a longstanding background in logistics coordinating people, transportation, documents and supplies for more than 15 years including my current position with the Board of Elections. Working alongside The Board’s ACCO I’ve gained meaningful insight and solid experience processing contracts with other city agencies and government entities, which I believe will provide for a smooth transition. I have worked in every type of organization from non-profit to private consistently demonstrating my problem-solving skills and efficiency by completing tasks quicker, uncomplicated, and more accurate. During my time with The Board I have implemented several procedures and processes that are now used throughout the procurement and finance department, such as checklists for each contract, on-going teaching manual with hyperlinks to government sites; assigning contracts by type to fellow procurement staff, and other tasks that improved workflow and overall employee morale. Throughout my professional career, hospitality and clear communication has been demanded of me.
