I am a Senior at Brigham Young University. I am a member of the BYU Marriott School of Business Finance program. Over the Summer, I worked at Global View Capital Advisors as a Financial Assistant to the Branch Manager. While I was there, I helped 221 different investment accounts acquire the documentation for Margin Trading. I also helped input client trades and new client information into the company's database system. I recently completed an internship for a startup company called BlockWatch and collaborated with a team to forecast their financials by creating a 2-year and 5-year financial budget. I also helped the CEO calculate the gross burn rate timeline for an investment he received.I am currently a member of the BYU's Private Banking and Asset Management Club and the Women in Finance Associations. I have also participated in the Corporate Finance Association. I have a goal of becoming a Certified Financial Planner and would love to grow with your team. I also love to plan and lead. I served as the Mayor Pro Temp and also as Secretary for the Mapleton Youth City Council. I conducted and lead meetings, kept track of each member of the council's service hours and participated in over 40 community service activities. Other jobs I have hade include cashiering at Reams: a local grocery store and working at BYU Catering for 2 years. While I was there as a waitstaff, I served many of BYU's distinguished guests such as: Banquet attendees, Wedding Guests, EFY participants, BYU Football Guests, and Mission Presidents. I've been playing the violin and piano for 14 years and graduated from the Suzuki Violin Method Book 10.I've learned the importance of hard work as I worked on the family farm for 12 years, which included tasks such as hauling hay, moving sprinkler pipe, mowing lawn and building fences.The skills I have developed over the years involve: leadership, memorization, critical thinking skills, planning, communication skills, and math skills within finance.
