The Team of Tom and Leslie is seen all over the Fox Valley. I am the Leslie, Tom Gancer is my partner. We are 2 full time realtors working together for our clients. We make buying and selling homes fun. We are both tech savvy and are always ahead of the curve on education. We are both graduates of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and are accredited home buyer professionals (ABR), Tom is an accredited stager, once owned a painting business and his knowledge helps to assist sellers in getting their homes in tip top shape. He has his MBA in marketing and the SFR designation, making him a short sale and disclosure expert. I have my CDPE designation, Certified Distressed Property Expert which compliments Tom's SFR designation. We are thankful we do not have to use these designations as much as short sales have become fewer these days. We have been loving working with first time home buyers and listing homes all over Northern Illinois!!

NIFB was the 2010 National Food Bank of the Year and in 2011 opened a new facility in Geneva, IL where they can provide much better services to assist the local agencies in the area...Congratulations!!With limited staff and on a tight budget, NIFB provides fresh and packaged food to more than 520 food assistance sites, including soup kitchens, pantries, childcare agencies, shelters, after-school snack programs. Collectively, they are the food safety net for hundreds of thousands of poor people in the 13 counties northern Illinois served by NIFB – from urban and suburban areas to very rural areas. Volunteers assist this limited staff in providing hundreds of hours of vital work for this facility we weigh, sort and even repackage items for distribution to families in need. Leslie now works at the new Geneva facility. Northern Illinois Food Bank is a great place to volunteer your time! They are the number one Food Bank in the country!!

Taught Middle School Physical Education. Followed this with various teaching responsibilities in Lansing Michigan through 1985.
