I'm looking for internship and career opportunities in a variety of areas. My experience is broad and I'm anxious to dig deeper!

I hosted a variety show called "All the Things," where I discuss the many twists and turns my life, interests and education have taken to make me the person I am today. I interviewed guests about our shared and varied interests, and the ways they, too, have reinvented themselves in various ways. A little bit of music, a big ol' chunk of chat about All the Things--both this and that!

Learning every day, loving the process, and really proud of the progress on this project! It's not about MY progress. It's about people coming together behind a filmmaker for a cause far bigger than themselves and getting to be a part of presenting possible solutions to something having an impact on our whole society.

I primarily worked on feature and multimedia stories.

Worked primarily for GMPC/Accessories Collective in packing and shipping. Largest clients were Nordstrom and Amazon. Lots of organization and attention to detail.

Checking in and out film and photography equipment, taking reservations for equipment and studio time, trouble shooting issues with copiers and classroom tech like projectors, printing posters, etc.

Learning everything from screenwriting, production work (contracts, etc.) and directing to camera skills, lighting, and editing.

I worked on two professional feature film sets, Mama Boy and In All the Darkness, in various capacities, from craft services and transportation to 2nd AC, script supervisor, and more, depending on the needs of the day.

I joined The Ozarks Sentinel as a freelance human interest reporter focusing on area non-profits and my local school district, then quickly transitioned to a weekly columnist after submitting samples to the editor. I maintained the weekly column for over a year, leading up to my departure for Job Hunt Across America. The paper was the fastest growing weekly paper in the region at the time, covering 6 counties in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas. Unfortunately, the paper no longer exists.

Owned and operated this small lake resort near Table Rock lake for seven years before relocating to the North Bay area of California in January 2011. I did all of the writing and copyediting for the business as well as the booking, cleaning, and landscaping.Besides the more mundane yet crucial cleaning responsibilities, I gained a wealth of experience in prioritizing, task and time management, business to business relations, advertising, and customer service. I also learned not only the value of both hard work and rest, but the need for both to be a priority. If you overwork, you cannot function at your peak and balls get dropped, but a deadline is a deadline and you push through until it's time to rest. Then rest well.
