My detail-oriented skills, combined with my love for numbers, led me to choose accounting as the career for me. I find fulfillment in balancing books and figuring out where a company's cash flow is coming from.I have had the honor of being handpicked to be in the Accounting Scholars program. This has been a great resource that has helped me make connections with firms and individuals. Another very important club that has helped me is Women in Business. Through this club, we visited corporations and sat down with accountants to learn about their daily job responsibilities. These have helped me broaden my understanding of what it takes to build a career in accounting.
