As Design Lead for the Google Certified Innovator program, I developed the framework and created and facilitated the design thinking program for the Innovator Academies worldwide, supporting over 500 innovative teachers. I also coached facilitators in different languages to deliver the program in Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Spain and the Netherlands. This three day bootcamp invites a select group of educators who apply through a highly competitive process to design solutions to pressing problems in education.

I also supervised many experiential outdoor education trips such as canoeing in the backcountry of Northern Ontario, Sea Kayaking in BC, and multi-day backcountry hiking trips in BC. CUP makes educational projects about places and how they change. CUP projects bring together art and design professionals with community-based advocates and researchers to produce experiential, project-based curricula that get students out of the classroom to interact with the city and the people who make it work. As Educator in Residence, I worked with teachers at the Bushwick Academy of Urban Planning to design and deliver a place-based learning experience in Grade 9 Geography that explored equity issues and environmental sustainability. I also supported a group of students to produce a full length documentary film called "The Good, The Bad and the Empty" that explored real estate prospecting and equitable access to public space in East New York.
