An energetic, curious, and ambitious senior nursing student looking to find an organization that will aid in my growth as a nurse. Passionate about patient education and patient advocacy. Skilled in time management, communication, and leadership. My professional areas of interest include: Labor & Delivery and Postpartum. As a working nursing student, I have balanced two jobs while maintaining a 3.7 GPA throughout the program. My experience as a CNA has helped sharpen my skills in communication with interprofessional members in the hospital, and working in a team to provide patient-centered care. My experience as a shift supervisor has given me the opportunity to improve my skills in leadership, delegation, and critical thinking. Both of these positions have allowed me to grow as a team member and a leader. My passion is for Labor & Delivery nursing as it gives me the opportunity to aid women in the transition to motherhood or the further addition to their families.
