To lead and manage the Group procurement function to ensure Group purchasing and supply policies are developed and adhered to resulting in a cost effective and commercially appropriate procurement delivery. The incumbent will be expected to ensure that all departments comply with and follow the relevant policies.The role will require close co-operation with the relevant departmental heads to ensure that the Procurement group is involved through all aspects both of purchasing and/or commercial discussions where appropriate. The Procurement Manager is expected to develop strategies and associated plans to deliver enhanced cost effectiveness and delivery through innovative approaches to the supply chain.
