I am an IT Project Manager working on wide ranging projects in the organization. My background as a Windows\VMWare systems engineer and Microsoft Exchange engineer allows me to be fully engaged in a project by having the ability to understand technical issues, use my analytical abilities to solve problems and to be able to offer solutions more quickly. I've also worked with a large number of people across the organization at different levels of hierarchy and businesses. Maintaining these relationships across businesses and IT gives me a unique perspective which I use to streamline communications in a project team that generally includes technical and business resources. My major focus more recently and currently is on managing the deployment of compliance systems for the firm. These systems are offered by major software vendors including FIS, NICE and LexisNexis.

As a Senior Windows Systems Engineer, I was responsible for all hardware and software for the Windows systems infrastructure. This included not only maintaining and managing the existing installed base but also the design and architecture of new systems to improve efficiency, lower costs or meet business requirements. This highly complex environment consisted of but isn't limited to VMWare, Exchange, Sharepoint, Active Directory, DNS running on Dell and HP server hardware.

In my position as a Windows Server Engineer, I was responsible for architecting and deploying systems and applications that are MS Windows based. This involved designing and providing solutions available through different Microsoft software or other vendors that are Windows based. In addition to solutions architecture, I managed a global enterprise wide Active Directory infrastructure within a global team of other Windows Server Engineers. Prior to joining the Windows Server Engineering team I was part of the Microsoft Exchange Engineering group responsible for maintaining, upgrading and managing the US Exchange environment hosting over 5000 mailboxes.

I was the team lead responsible for evaluating and recommending a unified messaging platform to enhance the productivity of the firm's financial advisors. I also managed the migration of over 600 Lotus cc:Mail mailboxes to Microsoft Exchange 5.5 which involved working with resources across multiple IT groups including desktop support, support desk and other messaging associates.

I initially started my career with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. which was purchased by CIBC Wood Gundy which subsequently changed their firm name to CIBC Oppenheimer. I initially was tasked with deploying new desktops and laptops installed with Windows 3.11, Windows 95/98 and Windows NT 4.0. I moved to the messaging group supporting a Lotus cc:Mail infrastructure located on various servers across the US.
