Served as an Aviation Structural Mechanic, maintaining flight systems on F/A-18 A-F Hornets, Super Hornets and E/A-18G Growlers. Maintenance included removing and replacing hydraulic components; testing hydraulic fluid and fuel; inspecting, removing and replacing of landing gear tires; maintenance on the landing gear components; maintenance on flight control surfaces; testing of flight systems to ensure safe operation of aircraft. Collateral duties included ensuring hydraulic equipment was ready for use, proper tool control, training was logged and provided effectively and general military bearing adhered to.
