I decided to become an actuary because I see their work as meaningful and essential to preserving assets and well-being for individuals, families, companies and society as a whole. I am committed to honesty, integrity, and accountability as I seek to improve my skills and further my career. I worked as a research assistant for 6 months and have experience with Python, Excel, VBA, and some R and SQL. As a research assistant I collaborated with fellow students to predict properties of metallic alloys using machine learning models in Python. I expect to graduate in April 2024.
