Primary duties are to build control panels from start to finish, this includes; receiving and cataloging incoming parts, reviewing schematics and predicting potential hardships that may arise during construction, mounting and wiring of components such as motor starters, electrical disconnects, emergency stop circuits, variable frequency drives, line reactors, ethernet switches, human interface devices such as touchscreens and external indicators or alarms and then assisting engineers in testing of equipment. Also have experience doing time studies for shop processes, limited use of CNC and laser cutting devices.

Primary duties were any sort of carpentry needed across three properties located in and around Wichita, KS. This included not only repair and remodeling but new construction and restoration of extensive fire damage. Frequently found ways to redesign external building features in order to save board footage; cutting down on lumber costs but also saving labor hours.

Responsible for handling large quantities of semiconductor devices in lots ranging from tens of devices to thousands. Testing procedures ranged from simple mounting of device to test bed to testing under operating temperatures. Became proficient in use of all test benches, including automated device handlers capable of testing hundreds of devices per minute.

I was responsible for maintaining and repairing avionics equipment at the intermediate level. Responsibilities included troubleshooting, replacement and ordering of parts, keeping the shop organized and meeting deadlines.
