At NewStore, I was responsible for the product vision, strategy, delivery and go-to-market of the "Store Operations” product area. My mission was to "Help retailers increase omni-channel revenue by optimizing complex in-store processes" such as Store Fulfillment, Inventory Management and Performance Monitoring. I led a team of product managers, designers and data analysts that guided their agile teams towards this mission. After my time at NewStore, my family and I relocated back to the USA.

Nürnberg Area, Germany

While at adidas I worked hand-in-hand with the adidas Mobile App, Web, Membership, Omnichannel and Retail teams within adidas to create synergies between online and offline sales and experiences. My team played an instrumental role in creating the digital products behind our award winning London Flagship store which opened in October 2019. The products we created directly and/or indirectly impact over 2 billion people per year, ranging from consumers to partners and store staff.

At DealerSocket I worked closely with potential customers, current customers and internal stakeholders to understand market needs and changes involving vehicle sales at franchise automotive dealerships. I had a big success with an enhancement to the sales mobile app by including an easy-to-use driver's license scanner to expedite the customer entry process in to the CRM. This add-on product quickly penetrated 85% of our existing customer base, providing a significant bottom line impact to the business. I also headed up the data analytics product at DealerSocket which allowed our customers to identify trends in their market and target specific customer types for use in the CRM. It was a blast working here! The team at DealerSocket is first class!

Irvine, California Area

This was a fun role for a long time. We built M2M and IoT telematics solutions that tracked cars, trucks and trailers using GPS embedded devices. I started here when the company was just a startup and now there are 850+ employees and they do $500m per year in revenue. My role was to gather market problems and solve them using the abundant technology at my disposal. I worked with a scrum team for the software development and a hardware team for the GPS devices, creating requirements for both. During my time at Spireon I was awarded 3 patents for products I designed. What a ride!

Greater San Diego Area

My brother and I started Baade Landscape Designs in 2006. We had a blast and helped a lot of clients meet their design goals. Sadly we closed the doors in 2008 due to the economic downturn which especially impacted the construction industry.
