🎨 I am an artist at heart but tend to think like an engineer. Perhaps this is why I prefer 3D CAD modeling to clay, Adobe Illustrator to ink and paper, and pixel art to tile mosaics. I have, however, been known to solder, saw, sand and build out of just about any material so while I do like to work with my hands, I generally do so within the context of my hobbies.📐 I was an Architecture major at Temple University, then a freelance artist for over a decade, eventually leading to a happy discovery where my love of expression and attention to fine detail were put to their best use in illustration and CAD for patent applications.👾 I'm a classic video game enthusiast who doesn't play many games but appreciates the artistic and musical vision that goes into them. In addition to creating many works of pixel art over the years as a freelance artist (mostly within animations for websites like College Humor), I've also made a lot of music using a Nintendo and a Gameboy. I've released multiple albums in the Chip-tune genre.🎹 I grew up playing piano by ear and as a result, can sit in with any band as long as they're playing something less complex than Jazz.🔑 What all this amounts to is someone with many interests and skills, and when any one or combination thereof is put to a singular focus, can accomplish just about anything.
