Conducted user research while developing an innovative crowd participation mobile app. ThinkBox is a mobile app that allows a large group to steer and contribute to a live discussion, without distracting from the discussion itself. ThinkBox is extremely simple to use, but provides powerful insights, both during and after the event.

Responsible for development of specialist training products including Helicopter Underwater Escape Trainers & Eco-friendly Fire Fighting Training Props. I coordinated our partner companies when tendering for and delivering large-scale international projects. I also led technical and marketing communications, which involved technical writing, website development and the creation of marketing resources.

Formed and led a team to develop a business around a patented safety device for the automotive industry. Patents granted worldwide; presented to board level of leading global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

Designed precision automated machinery for multinational and indigenous companies, mostly in the pharmaceutical and electronics industries.

Contributed to first-ever safety standard for helmets used in hurling and camogie (I.S. 355:2006).
