Delivered a cloud-based tool for flight crew to calculate the Cost Index based on actual flight plan. Implemented Power BI tool for Flight Ops to monitor and quantify savings.- Established a process for extensive analysis of flight data to better forecast flight times. When back tested, the model showed much greater accuracy, which when integrated into the schedule, would reduce fuel burn on routes that were previously too short, airport fees on those that were too long, and inherent stress in the whole system.- Carried out audit of fuel carry by route and flight routing and the cost of fuel at airports to model optimum fuel carry. Improved the instructions to flight crew, developed reporting for Flight Ops to monitor and quantify savings. Example projects for the Commercial Team- Built a cloud hosted, automatically updating Power BI tool to open and cleanse invoice data to enable identification of the costs to be re-billed to franchise partners, releasing £1.7m of held revenue, and around £300k per month.- Analysed historical inflight sales to a model to the impact of cancelling poor selling lines, with expected uptake on similar items, with related price changes. Proposed a new menu with 30% fewer lines, retaining a healthy amount of product diversity, with a modelled modest increase in profit. Menu was adopted and put on board.- Modelled the costs and benefits of proposed loyalty programmes, joined negotiations with programme providers. -
