Hello - my name is Lewis Hewison and I am a passionate and driven 3D artist. I am based in Newcastle upon Tyne.From a young age I have dreamt of building a career as an artist. After moving on from freelancing whilst studying Illustration at Newcastle College, I came away with a first class honours degree and a list of great working partnerships with various creatives. I then switched my focus solely to environment art for games at the start of 2020. After a year long course with AAA mentors I then became Alumni at Vertex School based in California.I recently worked as an Environment Artist (Remotely) at Antimatter Games based in Cornwall - following the closure of the studio, I moved on to work at Montreal based, Behaviour Interactive (UK-NORTH STUDIO). I also work part-time as a game arts mentor at Vertex School Online. I am a term one mentor, introducing and aiding artists hoping to break into the industry through the Vertex Curriculum and getting them to grips with the first chunk of the three-part game arts bootcamp.I have worked on a multitude of commission projects both local and international and have also exhibited in art shows in the Ouseburn area of Newcastle.-
