Responsible for the co-ordination and review of all administrative processes, which included identifying and recording student placements to be considered for approval. As well as placement allocations, administration of audits and recording of mentors/employer's information. Actively managed and tracked new and existing placements suitable for programmes within the Applied Health and Social Care area

As administrative assistant I was responsible for database management which required a high-level attention to detail and accuracy. Had to ensure a methodical approach and work at a fast pace to ensure all entries were completed to a high standard within the allocated time. One of the key responsibilities was to cleanse the large database of surplus data. This allowed me to develop key decision-making skills as well as proactive initiative. Was able to reduce the size of the system by 25% allowing for improved efficiency and productivity when using the database
