A part of Amnesty International's Global Youth Collective as a Youth Leader for the Africa Region where I'll ensure the inclusion of youth perspectives in Global, Regional, and National Amnesty Meetings.

Some of my roles as the Youth Delegate representing AI Ghana are as follows:1. Represent the youth membership of Amnesty International Ghana at the Global Assembly and Regional Meetings in 2024.2. Participate in elections for members of the Preparatory Committee, the International Nominations Committee, and the Membership Review Committee.3. Network and liaise with other youth representatives representing one-third of membership entities.4. Actively participate in all preparatory activities for the Regional and Global Assembly meetings.5. Take detailed notes and write a report on the events of the Global Assembly & Regional meetings

Being the President of the association, I have the following duties:1. He shall be the leader and the chief spokesperson of the association in all matters coming under the jurisdiction of the AAES.2. He shall preside over all executive committee and general assembly meetings with powers in compliance with the relevant provisions of this constitution.3. He shall be a signatory to the bank account of the association4. He shall head all delegations of the association both local and international5. Notwithstanding the provisions of article 9 (4) supra, the president shall have the power to appoint an officer to head a delegation to a conference in the name of the association.6. He shall have the power to appoint all committee heads.7. He shall present a program of action for consideration and approval at a meeting of the association upon assuming office.8. He shall present a report on the association at the last meeting of the general assembly before general elections are held.9. The president shall be responsible for the general running of the association
