The mission of the Cheer & Brutus Alumni Society is to enhance connections among our alumni and support group as well as support the current teams functionally and financially.

Our mission is to raise money and awareness for the scholarship funds for our current and future Cheer & Brutus athletes as well as interact with our society members and keep them connected. I completely manage our social media and other communication chains. I generate, organize, post, and interact with all our social media content and information roll out. I also manage our email inboxes and interact with our members who reach out.

By sharing the apparel this company creates, I am able to spread my faith to others while also wearing a daily reminder of my own faith journey. This role is completed solely through social media, but the quality and designs of their products speak for itself.

While in this program, I will have the opportunity to spend time learning every aspect of this company and how all the gears turn in one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world. I will then have the chance to do two 8-week rotations in branches that I will preference later in the learning process. I'm excited to be a part of a company that has the goal "to be the best food company growing a better world."

On a weekly basis, I held multiple office hours to allow students to come in for extra aid on homework or exam preparation. I also graded homework weekly and completed a lot of the back-end work on the grading website. As a teaching team, we graded every quiz and exam for the class. On top of the weekly responsibilities, I held review sessions for each of the exams as well as I also acted as a substitute professor on days when the professor was unable to come to class.

During my 10 week program, I had the opportunity to work under the Breakthrough-Innovation team, specifically on the Joint Venture team, to make technical and palette improvements on a product in early development. I participated in weekly case studies and Excel challenges provided by University Relations. I spent a lot of my time in a lab setting creating and testing new methods and ingredients to the product. I presented my findings to my cohort and others in the Joint Venture branch.

I attended lectures and help students better understand the rigorous course material. I also graded weekly homework assignments, as well as all the exams within the semester. Finally, I held weekly office hours and extra exam preparatory sessions to aid in student learning.

I supervised a 3 hour laboratory period as well as hold office hours once a week. On top of that, my responsibilities included grading laboratory reports as well as attending staff meetings weekly.

I cleaned and sterilized dental instruments and operatories after use, developed x-rays. I also organized and filed paperwork for doctors and hygienists.

I spent time teaching and perfecting gymnastics and tumbling skills to children ages 3-15. I also supervised birthday parties for safety purposes as well as mentored incoming employees. I worked 11 hours per week while taking full high school course load.
