About Lexxus Porter

I’m a human resources professional who is passionate about setting up my employees for success and proactively act as a behind-the-scenes voice for True Group Inc.Currently, as a human resources generalist, I am excited to be one of the first faces new hires will see as we complete the onboarding orientation. When I am not welcoming employees to True, I sit in on performance reviews to ensure that both True and our employees are able to continue to make advancements while exemplifying our principles. I look forward to continuing to build my knowledge within the benefits and people and culture fields to be able to continue to offer employees more than just an occupation.Previously, as a people services coordinator, I began everyday with overseeing the onboarding, interviewing, and applicant screening process by utilizing Talentreef and GHRR. Throughout the day, I moved on to drawing up, approving, and processing FMLA and LOA paperwork while also administering and tracking employee health benefits, 401K plans, and workman’s compensation. I began challenging myself with working closely with the Payroll Coordinator to help resolve payroll processing exceptions.Lastly, as a corporate communications and media relations coordinator at Camping World, I worked side by side with the director, HR, and marketing team on internal communications, as well as social media content. On a day-to-day basis, the tasks ranged from generating acquisition press releases to following up with the winners of our social media giveaways.When I’m not on the job, I love spending time with my Pug, traveling to warm locations, and boating on the Chain O’Lakes with my family.Competencies: Certified Facebook Digital Marketing Associate, Ultipro, Talentreef, ADP, Canva Desktop Publishing, Hootsuite, Act!
