- To provide statistical analysis on research and evaluation projects and outcome and management information as required. - Applying research methodology in the context of child welfare administrative data. - Participates in planning and implementing research and evaluation activities including literature reviews, data collection, organization and analysis of both quantitative, qualitative, and administrative data.- Assists with preparation of research and evaluation proposals, reports and knowledge dissemination activities, including journal articles and creation of multi-media presentations and training. - Contributes to other aspects of the innovation and research program as requested and carrying out other administrative duties as required.

The Healthy Relationships Laboratory

Data Analyst: Coercive Control and Physical Violence at the Onset of Dating Relationships: A Prospective Longitudinal Study - Responsible for analyzing data using Latent Growth Modeling to distinguish the how coercive control and physical violence develop across the first six months of an intimate relationship. Data Analyst: The relation between family-of-origin aggression and dating aggression: A Meta-analytic review- Responsible for creating effect sizes based on correlation coefficients weighted by reliability coefficients for a meta-analysis review that focuses on family-of-origin violence and its influence on perpetration and victimization of intimate partner violence.Project Coordinator: Mixed methods adolescent dating violence study- Coordinated a study of the multivariate predictors of adolescent dating aggression, with an objective to capture the context that dating aggression occurs in. Responsibilities included: management of day-to-day operations in the lab; recruiting, scheduling, and processing participants; training and supervising other research assistants working on the project; creating and maintaining SPSS data sets; and transcribing interviews and data coding.Research Assistant: Social skill deficits in male perpetrators of dating violence study- Responsibilities included administering, scheduling, and processing couple-dyad participants. Additional responsibilities included recoding participants’ responses in accordance with Social Cognitive Theory by Dodge.

Competence, Coping, And Intervention Laboratory

Data Analyst: Aggressive boys' attributions of emotions and intentions in social situations study- Responsible for analyzing data using Analysis of Variance in order to distinguish the difference between clinically aggressive boys and non-aggressive boys’ attributions of social situations. Research Assistant: Theory of mind and intergenerational transmission of trauma study- Responsibilities included transcription of child interviews in an assessment to understand how well children understood theory of mind in correlation to their mothers' previous trauma experience. Data Entry for mother-child dyads information of trauma, depression, and parenting styles.

Think To Learn Laboratory

Research assistant: Using Video Games to Identify and Improve Cognition in School-aged Children- Responsibilities included coding of video games for various cognitive functions (e.g., selective attention, executive functioning) in order to help implement a program that targeted cognitive deficits in youth. In addition, responsibilities included a focus group that discussed discrepancies between coding answers of the video games.
