I'm an energetic puzzle solver with a broad area of interests. But have had an additional interest in technological innovations since my youth, especially if i could combine this with a physiological/medical topic. Following the bachelor and master in Biomedical Engineering was thus an easy and logical choice, where i found out that i like to work on the edge of software/hardware. Found an opportunity to do this kind of work as an biomedical algorithm engineer at Holst Centre - TNO. Which allows me to work with newly innovated printed electronic sensor devices, and create algorithms around it to measure on the human body. For me, working with a personal approach is important as well as is working in an multidisciplinary team. Besides my work my broad area of interests shows itself via my interest in things like trivia, pubquizzes and music quizzes. Also like a good (complex) strategy board game from time to time, especially if it involves a lot of strategy discussions.
