- Coordinate overall administration, operations, and analysis for the Washington State policy and advocacy team.- Research and provide budget and policy content for newsletters and social media, and to inform Start Early Washington’s advocacy strategy.- Serve as liaison with external partners and contribute to effective relationships with national, state, and local organizations.- Execute legislative session support including bill tracking, communication of legislative positions, and committee meeting tracking.

- Evaluate the full compensation including salaries and benefits for City Council members- Determine any potential changes to the existing salary structure for the legislative body

- Execute high-quality project management while supporting multiple communications and outreach plans simultaneously.- Develop a range of written and visual communications assets that deliver game-changing political strategy and communications outcomes.- Manage and shape multiple clients’ social media accounts on various social media platforms, advocacy and organizing tools, and emerging digital communications trends.

- Plan and organize a winning campaign and oversee all aspects of the campaign organization, including daily communications, messaging, and strategy.- Recruit, train, and organize 100+ volunteers and canvassers to execute the voter contact strategy, reaching over 10,000 voters.- Mobilize voters and supporters through campaign events, fundraisers, phone banking, and paid media to earn 57% of the vote in a newly redistricted swing legislative district.

- Coordinate office management and constituent casework while delegating to and supervising a Legislative Intern.- Track 10+ proposed bills and other bills of interest through committees and all cutoff deadlines while documenting stakeholder comments.- Conduct policy research and prepare briefing materials on environmental and other relevant subjects.

- Research subject matter, create content material, and facilitate discussions for 15 educational and guided-forum discussions around various social issues.- Partner with program managers and on-campus organizations to create outreach plans for engaging the UW Bothell community in cultural conversations.- Execute marketing strategies, track engagement metrics, and extend the department’s reach through social media management.

- Collaborate with a small team of political consultants, interns, and campaign staff to create winning political campaigns for 15+ clients simultaneously.- Prepare analytical write-ups and reports on candidates and opposition.- Source and maintain databases of elected officials, media outlets, and other contacts.

- Provide administrative and hospitality support for the temporary Summer housing program at the university.- Maintain privacy regulations and standards while organizing guest check in/out procedures of 100+ member groups.- Schedule on-site facilities and assemble necessary maintenance and safety reports.
