From my early days teaching science in the UCLA Freshman Cluster Program to now leading an instructional design team at Stanford, my goal has always been simple: make learning meaningful. At UNSW Sydney I had the privilege to learn alongside some of the best higher ed innovators in Australia, pioneering the use of different digital technologies to enhance undergraduate learning. Now at Stanford Engineering's Center for Global and Online Education, I work with faculty to create impactful online learning for professional learners around the world. Outside of work, I'm a problem-solving mom who recently became a hero when I used a vacuum cleaner to retrieve a ball from our neighbor’s backyard (as my favorite coffee mug says, “Never underestimate a mom with a physics degree”).
