In 2016, Laura was promoted to VP of Marketing for the parent company, a healthcare membership organization. She oversaw brand and marketing strategy for 28 internal companies that served 17,000+ healthcare providers across North America. In 2019 she left the corporate world to realign her focus to the cannabis industry to honor her family. The loss of her brother to a drug-related heart attack and her father to brain cancer has forever shaped her life. Laura is a leader inside and outside of the work environment, by volunteering countless hours for community groups. She was most influential in her role with the American Advertising Federation (AAF). She has won eleven American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) for her work and was honored with the coveted AAF Silver Medal Award. She was also a 20 Under 40 award recipient and a finalist for Technology Association of Iowa - Women of Innovation and Leadership award.
