I was recommended and then recruited on a 3 month contract (which was extended to 6 months) as Practice Manager to a newly acquired private solicitors practice.As well as the general office management role I analysed the company expenditure and did a thorough budget analysis to find out where money could be saved. My role was split with 2 responsibilities:- 50% organising UK and Annual International Company Conferences, Quarterly Sales Meetings and smaller scale Regional Meetings and the other 50% holding a PA role to the Commercial Director which also provided the Office Management service to the Sales Department.
