I am a dedicated and organised final year University of Sydney undergraduate student, studying a combined bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Advanced Science majoring in Geography. As part of my degree, I am currently completing an honours research project focussing on social infrastructure - places that allow people to create and maintain social networks - and how it can assist in strengthening a community's capacity to respond to disasters effectively. I am also currently working at Northrop Consulting Engineers as an Undergraduate Structural Engineer, and am loving the opportunity to apply my skills to real-life design projects.I am passionate about how the built environment can shape the lives of the people who inhabit it, and how urban spaces can be best designed to allow cities to sustainably accommodate for a progressively uncertain future.
