With over 12 years of experience as a Human Resources professional, I developed a passion for the generalist role as it affords me the opportunity for exposure to all elements of HR. The focus is on job performance and transferring useful skills to people, thereby minimizing the need for me.I am strong at cultivating relationships whether it be with staff I manage, vendors, recruits, management or colleagues. These skills, coupled with organizational systems for recruiting, training, developing and evaluating employees provide the foundation for the work I do in the 'business of people'. Designing benefit plans, policy and procedures, compliance management, and the day-to-day HR functions are tasks that provide a counterbalance to the 'people intense' elements of the HR Generalist role. My experience in these areas stretch back to my early days at GGLO and have continued to develop in my 12 years of experience.
