Head on-the-ground efforts for marketing at Arizona Snowbowl. I work closely with the marketing team based out of Durango, CO to coordinate and implement marketing plans and strategies. Key aspects involve content creation (photos, videos, blogs, e-blasts), social media and website management, working with analytics and sales data, communicating with media guests, and building relationships with strategic partners in Flagstaff as well as Phoenix/Grand Canyon.

Developed still and motion marketing assets working in fast-paced design agency with over 100 automotive dealership clients nationwide. Expanded my design skillset working with InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator to create print, digital and TV advertising, while also growing my skills with client relations and project coordination.

At Snowbowl, I continued to pursue my love for the mountains and the outdoors after moving to Flagstaff. In my first season, I created a ski school carpool initiative to help instructors save on commute costs while also reducing emissions. In addition to regular group and private instructing, I also helped train new instructors and share techniques learned from my time at Aspen.

Part-time internship position for winter season 2016-2017. Worked with other interns to write, shoot, interview, and edit short segments for morning show. Other duties included setup of morning show at Snowmass Mountain base area, assisting with multi-camera in-studio show, and assisting with other miscellaneous production projects.

Obtained Alpine Level I Cert. Trained comprehensively each season with one of the top ski school training programs in the country under PSIA Examiners. Developed strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, in addition to risk assessment and facilitation skills.

Developed leadership and cross-cultural communication skills while working abroad. Taught group and private lessons primarily in English for a large expatriate community residing in Beijing, and also taught lessons in Mandarin Chinese for native guests. My first job out of college, this was supposed to be a temporary winter gig that allowed me to ski for free while I figured out what I would do next. Instead, I developed a passion for teaching and coaching others, and watching them grow their skills and abilities through a controlled progression of challenges. I started to pursue additional training and opportunities in this realm.
