LENS: Learn Empathy, Negotiation, and Sense of SelfPlanned and implemented an after-school performing arts-based program developed to help young students learn empathy, practice negotiation skills, and develop a sense of self. The program culminated in a "Skill Share" performance event for family and friends.

I was given the responsibility of finding interesting, local events and writing engaging copy for both magazines' weekly newsletters. I was also assigned ad hoc writing assignments, in addition to pitching and writing my own stories. During my time, I also assisted the design team with contacting artists for high-quality images needed for South Sound December.
