During my last year of secondary school I needed to look at what I wanted to do with my career. This is when I applied for HETA and am now a trainee seeking the opportunity to become a multiskilled or an electrical engineer. During my first year at HETA I am currently in a round robin group where I do different courses such as: basic electrical wiring and testing, mechanical maintainance, CAD and bench fitting. As of right now, I am doing basic electrical wiring and testing where I am Installing, testing and commissioning various circuits such as domestic circuits, power circuits and industrial power circuits.In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym around 5 times a week if I can where I am able to benefit myself physically and mentally. I played football for Cleethorpes Town Owls for two years where I was able to develop and use many soft skills that I think would benefit me in a place of work. I would say that my biggest skill is communication which I have developed from going to the gym and playing football. The gym has enabled me to step outside of my comfort zone as I am speaking to new people to better myself. My position when playing football makes me quite a vocal player.I have GCSE qualifications In Maths, English Language, English Literature, History, Engineering and Sports and coaching. Also, I am completing a BTEC level 3 in engineering
