Previously, my main responsibility was to make contact with potential customers for the Google Apps service by identifying their current infrastructure requirements & recognising profitable customers.Recently, I have been working within a similar area, but instead identifying potential customers for the Google Maps for Business service and recognizing how said business' can benefit from geo applications.I have also been required to use initiative to source my own data and target specific businesses that would benefit from Google Maps services, find out their requirements and highlight ways that they could utilise the services in their sector, as well as giving a clear conceptual ideas of what they will be able to achieve using the API.These roles have given me the ability to develop my verbal communication skills and initiative, particularly the ability to improvise when dealing with difficult situations whilst maintaining an assertive, persuasive and professional disposition.
