Sales AdvisorO2 (Telefónica Uk) Jul 2008 - Feb 2010Lakeside Shopping CentreI started working at o2 on a 3 month probationary period, which I passed in two months. While here I delivered exceptional customer & after sales services. Giving clear and relevant demos which were tailor made for the individual customers’ needs. I was aware of my KPIs and made sure I hit and exceeded these. Also made sure I knew the stores targets and helped team members by sharing new ideas to optimise every sale.I received many awards here for my sales including; top sales in the whole division and in my last quarter at o2 I received awards for highest sales in five out of seven key performance indicators, also being recognised by the MD, as 'a great fan generator'.I was also in charge of dealing with customer repairs, due to having experience with repairs in a warehouse environment. This included calling customers, dealing with repair quotations and collection statuses. I managed this for 8 months, in this time we achieved the stores first ever five star audit.I made sure customers' feedback got used effectively, creating a great in store experience. While also working here I did a lot of research into products that we provided and emerging products that we would in the future, I then shared this knowledge through presentations to my team.I later left this position to get into Freight Forwarding, which at the time I saw as a new opportunity, with better hours, with a more appealing career path. -
Sales AdvisorCurrys Dec 2006 - Jun 2008Lakeside Shopping CentreI first started working in Curry’s as a Warehouse Operative on trial, completing various warehouse tasks during my shift. I then got a hunger for selling while I was completing these tasks on the shop floor, which was spotted by my line manager and then was quickly transferred to the shop floor. During my time in this new role, I delivered great customer & after sales service, making sure I had a wide range of knowledge on all products we offered at the time and shared this with my customer and colleagues.I also ensured I exceeded my sales targets and helped other team members improve on theirs, through training. I also worked on store merchandising at this time being in charge of the t.v department. Although, I was only here for a short period I achieved many things; during the Christmas Period (four months) I completed 250k worth of sales, with the stores highest insurance and accessory attachment rates. After the first four months I was then taken on permanently and managed to make more sales of 750k in my whole year there, which was the second best sales figures in the whole company, again maintaining high attachment rates. I was nominated for two Awards while here "Best Newcomer and Outstanding Achievement in Sales", I later was awarded the second. After a year I left this position after being offered various roles in other stores (Sony centre, Apple & o2), which had better prospect and pay structures.
