As a Retail Assistant at Marks and Spencer for over four years, I have developed valuable skills in customer service, inventory management, and sales. I have collaborated with other colleagues to meet customers' needs and expectations, especially during peak trade. I have also utilized various technologies, for example, belted tills, self-checkouts, and Honeywells to ensure efficient, accurate and controlled transactions, as well as contributing to the organisation’s strategic objectives.Alongside M&S, I am a third-year Business Management student at the University of Lincoln, with a keen interest in finance, particularly financial consulting. I have chosen to study previous finance modules and am currently studying a financial management module, applying numeracy and investment equations with analytical skills to address current issues and market trends. My interests also lie in CSR, completing certifications in Bloomberg Market Concepts and awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duke of York Digital Enterprise, that demonstrate my initiative, curiosity, and passion for the outside world. I am currently searching for 2024 graduate roles in financial consulting, where I can contribute to the success of the organisation and the individual, as well as develop as a professional.

  I have learnt: the FIFO method of inventory turnover, collaborated with other colleagues in peak times such as Christmas, when the business tries to maximise it revenues through peak trade, communicated verbally to customers about general enquiries and more specific product information such as product constituents, utilised technology such as belted tills, self-checkouts and Honeywells, as well as learning how to meet customers needs and changing demand.
