I attended Purdue as an Industrial Design major and graduated in May of 2023. I was the 2022-23 School of Liberal Arts Sudler Prize winner as well as the winner of the 2023 Victor Papanek Award. I was an intern at Enerpac Tool Group during the summer of 2022 and have also done contract design work for the wireless optical communications company, Attochron. After I graduated, I accepted an intern position at Shure Incorporated and was hired on full-time at the beginning of this past summer. I am now working on designing high-end microphones, audio equipment, and consumer electronics. For me, design is all about the feeling it evokes in the user. No matter what that feeling is, be it excitement, comfort, curiosity, or surprise, it always means something in regard to design.
