With ARINC I managed a comprehensive project portfolio that stood at 15 separate projects with a total project cost in excess of £3million ARINC were tasked with the design,implementation and roll out of CUSS (common use self-serve) IT systems for the Olympic Terminal at Heathrow as well as on-going CUSS projects at the Heathrow and Paddington rail station campus for Virgin Atlantic , Emirates, Qantas, BA and all other major Airline operatorsPrincipal accountability’s involve stake holder engagement, project planning, risk management and financial accountability. I report to the overall strategic manager for Heathrow and report consistently weekly as well as monthly to the board at ARINC.During each project I am responsible for stake holder and supplier engagement and direct project management of each individual task includingconstruction planning and design. I will develop and maintain an overall project plan and cost plan taking sole responsibility for each phase, design,construction, implementation and matainance packages as well as support on each system.I recently over saw the direct requirements of each of the Airlines at Heathrow during the design, mock ups and integration of the new Wave two check in desk’s for Terminal 2a and terminal 2b representing the airlines conveying and safe guarding the specific requirements of each with regard to thedesk equipment and infrastructure required for optimal passenger flow throughout the check in experience. I have generated interest as well a tangible contract leads for ARINC to pursue from business development perspective with my aptitude and diligence when either dealing directly with the Airlines or my contact at the airport built through years of can do attitude and challenge acceptance in whatever form they may present themselves

My Role to date has been to Scope and deliver network, voice and specialist systems work packages and projects at London Heathrow Airport. This involves the work packages for major construction projects, high turnover low value packages or a combination of both. The packages mostly contain network cabling, voice and specialist systems typically CCTV, MAID/Access control, FIDs and WLAN, CUSS compliance and delivery of Airport specific service across a diverse data network infrastructure. Principle Accountabilities included:• Proactively coordinate the installation of network, IT cabling and specialist systems work packages including appropriate M&E systems, civil works, equipment room upgrades and all associated physical infrastructure works.• Ensure that all health and safety requirements are fully implemented .Ensure CDM procedures are understood and followed by appropriate parties’ .Formally address any H&S and CDM Issues with the planning supervisor and principle contractor.• Ensure that the installation and changes are successfully taken into maintenance and support environment (BAA and LHR) as appropriate and that the Celsius database is fully updated where appropriate.• Proactively manage and undertake customer engagement, manage customer expectations and communication requirements.• Manage sub-contractors to ensure that the deliverables are met in accordance with the work package requirements• Manage, validate and document supplier’s quotations maintaining a clearly documented audit trail of any changes.• Take responsibility for the installation team’s work and initiate corrective action if necessary before escalation is required.
