I'm an experienced professional with over 20 years in the railway industry, beginning my journey as a Crossing Keeper at Sandhills IECC and quickly progressing through the ranks. After completing Signalling School and becoming a Grade 2 Signaller, I spent years developing my skills as a signaller and serving as a Union Representative focused on health and safety within my local work area for over a decade.My commitment led to new challenges, including roles as Deputy Mobile Operations Manager (MOM) and eventually a full-time MOM. These experiences helped me refine my managerial skills, and I later stepped into the position of Deputy Local Operations Manager at Sandhills IECC.In 2022, I became Local Operations Manager (LOM) for the Sandhills Outer Area , overseeing operations and ensuring safety and efficiency in that area. Following a successful tenure, I was seconded into the Inner Sandhills Inner LOM role, where I continued to demonstrate strong leadership and operational insight.Since June 2024, I have advanced into the role of Incident Local Operations Manager, managing Mobile Operations Managers and our incident response team across Chester, Crewe, and Merseyside. This role has further enhanced my ability to lead teams effectively through critical incidents, ensuring swift and safe responses in challenging environments.My passion for the railway industry, coupled with my focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork, drives me to excel in every role.
