Questions are simplified based on the agent's submission so not to confuse the field. • Consistently supporting agents based on questions and confusion on NOI submissions, SCI/SCU requests, appropriate requests, high-priority submissions, etc.• All submitted NOIs are checked weekly to ensure if the field as responded for timely response to the donor.• All NOIs completed and submitted to the assigned agent are spot-checked to ensure the agent has responded to the donor within a week timeframe.

The West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP) is a Pan-African civil society collaborative organization dedicated to conflict prevention and peacebuilding. Under WANEP Ghana, I was assigned to the West Africa Early Warning and Response Network (WARN) detachment. The primary objective of WARN is to provide early warning information on current human security issues in Ghana, and provide rapid response to mitigate and prevent these conflicts from occurring. Activities assigned to me under WARN included predominately office work, monitoring and reporting incidents and using WANEP-Ghana’s various early warning databases to provide data for proper response to improve communal security and development. Other tasks assigned to me were to provide weekly summaries of current human security issues and categorized the degree of alert, organize training with stakeholders regarding chieftaincy disputes in the Northern Region, and contact Community Monitoring Teams (CMTs) to report incidents and verify reports submitted.
