I stepped in to the role of People Capability Lead @ Marshall Motor Group in Feb 2023. What a first year it has been 👇Key achievements of 23/24:• Built and developed a team, expanding it from 5 to 11 members• Implemented changes to core course formats, resulting in significant cost savings of £900k+ for the business• Achieved department savings of £128k compared to the previous year and £48k versus budget• Significantly increased face-to-face delivery of learning and development programs across the group by 620%• Expanded learning and development opportunities to a wider range of roles within the group• Developed and launched new tools to enhance learning and development, utilising a blended approach that is targeted, agile, and 'just in time' learning• Enhanced the quality of group communications and engagement channels• Increased focus on Diversity & Inclusion activities, showcasing a commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace• Designed, created, and launched an in-house engagement insights survey, providing valuable data and insights on colleague perceptions regarding key cultural measuresThis was achieved through building, leading and managing a team effectively, strategic planning, and setting a clear focus with strong objectives. These achievements in the last year have demonstrated a strong ability to identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to achieve them. Whilst growing the team, increasing our offering, and extending our reach and value across more roles within the business.
