Led a team of 70+ software engineers based in London, Kiev and Kharkiv with a budget of $3.5M delivering releases of the Metastorm BPM software platform.

Responsible for day-to-day planning, delivery, recruitment and engineering activities for the Metastorm BPM platform. During this period I was heavily involved in setting up a satellite development team in Ukraine (Kiev).

Delivered a major re-implementation of the Metastorm 'e-work' platform to bring it into line with current technology. This project focused on upgrading the front-end (Web) client to use ASP.Net, and the back-end BPM engine to work naively with XML and move database intensive business logic into database stored procedures.

Worked as a Microsoft Visual C++ (MFC) / Visual Basic developer in a Professional Services role implementing custom integration projects for clients. Development projects spanned mobile data distribution, document management system integration, document capture / scanning systems, email and messaging systems, and document archiving and retrieval.

Worked on a variety of telemetry projects in a customer facing role as part of tenure with Logica. Member of a six person team redesigning and enhancing existing Windows based software to run on Microsoft NT. Responsible for use of object oriented design techniques following MVC design pattern to extract GUI code and produce fully portable tested libraries written in C++. Responsible for design and implementation of new user interface using MS Visual Basic calling these C++ libraries.
