Passionate, dynamic and forward thinking web developer with a keen eye for design and a dedication to UX and client satisfaction. I'm incredibly hard working and ensure to keep constant communication with any client to keep any project within scope. While it's very easy to over-engineer web design and development I pride myself in being able to consistently deliver clean, modern and effective sites, without the feeling of being bloated or overloading the user. I've had over 10 years of experience in designing and developing websites, for both e-commerce and showcase applications. To deliver these solutions I've used a mix of Wordpress and Zen Cart open source CMS packages, with custom templates and plugins to suit each case. In recent years I've ensured all sites were responsive, with UX optimised across all devices. While freelance developing I place great importance on the relationship between myself and my clients to ensure that I uphold their expectations. Through a series of meetings and conversations I develop an understanding of the requirement's for the project and keep them updated through the development process. In my spare time I like to read up emerging technologies which could potentially give myself, and my work, an edge. I also love to keep active and cycle 5-6 days per week. For me, keeping active on a regular basis helps me to stay focused on the job at hand for longer.
