Liam Knott is a fourth year co-op student from the University of Waterloo, Civil Engineering program. Over the past three and a half years, Liam has studied Civil Engineering while also obtaining experience in Mechanical Engineering, the Automotive Industry, Pharmaseutical Industry, Geostructural Applications and Steel Bridge Design through his coops. Liam shows exceptional leadership qualities by co-representing his Civil engineering class in the Waterloo Engineering Society. Liam would bring up concerns and speak on behalf of his fellow engineers to the entire Engineering Society. Liam applies his knowledge and experience to various organizations to understand more about what they do and how to help them. Before starting university, Liam worked in data analysis and management for Habitat for Humanity, interned for ANCAM Solutions Company Ltd, ran a landscaping business and became a supervisor to a 15 person produce department. Although Liam’s post university career has yet to start, Liam has been recognized as an exceptional coop student through competing with full-time employees for "Employee of the Month" awards. Liam has gained knowledge from a wide variety of fields and is efficient at applying it in new situations, making him a valuable asset to any workplace.
