• Software and design architect for over a dozen fully automated (“lights out”) WEB API and Visual Basic/SQL reporting modules utilized daily by operations and quality personnel to accelerate material movement, identify trouble or excursion events and provide live analytics; resulting in a reduction of logistical manual oversight by 50% and “end to end” cycle time decrease from 20Days  12Days .• Designed and developed several automated in-line validation systems resulting in reduction of quality escapes by 7%. Systems included logic to automatically alert DRI’s (Directly Responsible Individuals) of failures and communicated with MES system using REST technology to transact in and out of step as applicable.• Team Lead of AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) Engineering Group. Lead a team of 4 engineers in development and continuous improvement of inspection systems, process flows, and automation enhancements.  Project Lead in the design, construction and implementation of the ‘HORNET’ drive line allowing for an estimated 25 million dollars in annual sales when operating at full capacity. Software and design architect of all automated validation and assembly systems for the ‘HORNET’ drive line; implemented new technologies including automated lot controlling, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tracking of all Work In Process (WIP), automated lock out tag out and implementation of Master Data Management (MDM). Designed, automated tracking database and reporting system for 500k of company cutting assets (hobs) and a database for work order generation that automatically populated and printed all serial labels, necessary engineering drawings and parts requirement documentation.

Project Lead and software architect of a companywide process error and internal detected nonconforming product reporting system that provided management with visibility of product risk, high failure items and trend analysis.  Implemented the utilization of the Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP) for all new and legacy high volume (> 5,000 per year) products; Process Flow Charting, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Planning utilized extensively for making risk assessment, targeting continuous improvement projects and for driving Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) reaction trees. Lead all quality events on the production floor including Gage R & R, capability studies and Kaizen Six Sigma Projects, including; lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions for all internal and customer nonconformance’s, coauthored a redeveloped Quality Management System for ISO 9001 certification. Managed continuous improvement efforts targeting high risk process deviations resulting in a 5% reduction in returned product in first year of implementation (2014);  Developed a comprehensive calibration and metrology program that includes daily validation protocols, identifies and maintains appropriate calibration cycles of critical measurement systems and construction of an internal calibration laboratory resulting in a 50% reduction in assembly and machining downtime;

 Project Lead in the design, construction and implementation of the ‘KONG’ drive line allowing for an estimated 20 million dollars in annual sales when operating at full capacity. Project lead and software architect of computer automated custom built testing systems for all production lines resulting in a reduction of returned product by 30%; Implementation of a tool control program to manage all purchased and custom built tooling and fixturing utilized in daily production;  Co-lead in the implementation of a computerized quality management system (Unipoint) and statistical process control including the development of all workflows, training users company-wide, and administrative oversight. Acted as liaison between quality and engineering departments ensuring work holds and/or deviations are properly communicated and translated to the production floor. Rewrote all operational method sheets (standard work) for all product lines companywide; trained, managed, supervised and provided feedback to universities for all student interns.

-Troubleshot, tuned and aligned 1000 Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems. -Implemented and installed dozens of Sensor Net, RS422, CAT-5, and CAT-6 CCTV networks. -Designed and setup over 50 internet networks using a host of protocols including DHCP, DNS, Static and PPOE networks-Wrote and maintained three technical documents used by all Technicians in the field: “Internet Networking and Their Setup,” “Winfield Workload Database,” and “Using your Configurations.”
