Helped with the supervision of construction of 4 main offshore substations we built them at Bladt in Denmark, responsible for planning and implementation of most jobs for the offshore commissioning of the substations, wrote risk assessment and working procedures for most installation tasks, supervised and help write a safe system of works for the installation. Also crane supervisor, slinger and banks man and appointed person AP for the subcontractors on the offshore installation, rope access electrical works and installs on the substation. Inductions health and safety toolbox talks and implementing my engineering skill to the job in hand wrote work permits, daily servicing off full substation.

HERE I was part of a collected team responsible for safe submersion of the GBF( Gravity Base Foundation) to sea bed and act as electrical standby. Also I was responsible for the the demobilisation of colossal structures when sank. took off electrical wire, cabinets, battery's and communication and sensors and electrical cable and umbilical's used in this new method of base for the wind turbines.Dismantled all the pumping system and pipe work and all equipment used in Installation.commanded vessels and cranes and help all equipment and demobilised the base section contracted in by BAM and Struckton and EDF for Vistas 8.4 MW Wind turbines.USED winches ropes chain blocks slings and turffers, winches platform Cranes to the vesselsEDF Energy Renewables is currently building the Blyth Offshore Demonstrator Wind Farm.The project will see five wind turbines with a total generating capacity of 41.5MW installed around 6.5km off the coast of Blyth. Concrete gravity based foundations (GBFs) form part of the project and are being installed using a new “float and submerge” method – the first time this method has been used for offshore wind turbines. Designed and built by Royal BAM Group in the Neptune dry dock on the Tyne, The GBFs have been constructed at the Neptune dry dock over the past 12 months by BAM Nuttall and these structures will be floated down the river to the Port of Tyne, where extra ballast will be added ahead of their ‘tow-out’ to the offshore wind farm site.Once the GBFs are put into position over the summer, specialist contractor VBMS will start laying the inter array cables that will connect the individual wind turbines.Installation of five MHI Vestas V164 turbines will then commence once the cable is securely buried on the sea bed. The turbines will have a power rating of 8.3MW – the largest to be used on an offshore wind farm. It is anticipated that the turbines will start generating power by the end of the year.

I am currently employed in the Siemens preassembly site in hull and working on two projects there Dedugion and Racebank Project , here I am Part of the HSBM team and responsible for looking after and servicing the 6MW Nacelles , here I am responsible for doing services and maintenance on them from 14 day and 14 weeks servicing checking all cabinets and electrical components , hydraulics generators transformers coiling systems and hydraulic oil and pumping stations , we fire up all the nacelles main working station and check for problems and errors, I check all High and LOW voltage cabinets for problem and leakages making Shure the full system is working correctly for install , I also check all the DeMAG crains , rains and runner systems. and install the HSBM Turing tool to the nacelle for the blade install at sea , I have my IEP and my TSWA in Turing tool installation and testing , also responsible for any small snagging changing of valves and electrical components , also power up the nacelles using 690 voltage and generators to perform regular maintained and checks also command cranes and lift containers and heavily hydraulic equipment checking lifting bracket and moving nacelle to jack up vessels I have been on this site since December I would consider a move back to off shore as the rotation would be better suited I am a highly skilled electrical and mechanical engineer and with my vast wind turbine experiences I would be beneficial to any team I have team leader and management skills I am available asap
