Duty Manager @ SuperValu/SuperQuinn sites in both Rathgar and Lucan. Responsible for both fresh and ambient roles in both stores over my time with the company. Managed a brand transition to SuperValu. Worked with both SAP & GOLD in both brands as well as other key retail systems i.e HACCP etcAs part of the overall management structure, led a team of 65 staff, providing cross-training and development opportunities and recruited and supported a focused stock control team which has delivered statistics consistently achieving company KPI's. I promoted a strong customer service ethic within my departments, leading to successful passes on all mystery shopper audits and achieving the region’s top position on three occasions.Through creating innovative sales incentives, including tie-ups with local events, we successfully delivered significant increases in sales, and by reorganizing the departments and in-store procedures we were able to deliver higher productivity at lower costs.As Duty Manager I delivered Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in customer service, hygiene, availability, waste, shrink and labour, consistently achieving and frequently exceeding set targets.I was successful in identifying and actioning availability issues and liaising with colleagues in the Supplychain office to ensure timely resolution of any issues and effectively managed logistics issues as they arose, identifying potential problems before they occurred in order to implement timely solutions. I was responsible for the day-to-day running of the store and planning labour requirements to provide adequate staffing whilst remaining within allocated budgets.
