Researcher in the field of 2D materials with a particular focus on characterisation of semiconducting transition metal dichalcogenides using resonance Raman spectroscopy and other optical techniques. Most recently my paper "Observation of intravalley phonon scattering with 2s excitons in MoSe2 and WSe2 monolayers" was accepted for publication in IOP 2D materials. I have a broad range of practical skills including optical, experimental design and nanofabrication. As well as experience in CAD and FDM fabrication for rapid prototyping. I have good organisational and computational skills with experience in statistical data analysis and modelling of physical systems from first principles.
