I moved schools for a new teaching opportunity, a role as PE teacher in Greenfield International School. This has enabled me to continue developing as a teacher and explore different teaching and learning approaches. The IB framework used in the school allows for student autonomy and this has allowed me to adapt and explore different styles of teaching and has challenged me as a teacher. The school welcomes students from KG-Grade 12 which has given me experience in planning and delivering lessons for all ages.Key Responsibilities• Develop and deliver lesson plans in line with the International Baccalaureate framework.• Produce differentiated lessons to suit a range of abilities and age groups (KG – Grade 12) allowing all students to achieve progress during lessons.• Implement and support a wide range of extra-curricular activities giving students a choice andoptions to explore interests outside of curriculum.• A position of responsibility to develop and adapt the Physical and Health Education curriculum. I am the Owner and Head Coach of Train Like A Pro DXB (TLAP). TLAP is an independent Football Coaching business based in Dubai. TLAP offers 1:1 or small group sessions aimed at improving footballers physically and technically.All coaches have a background in Sport and Exercise Science which underpins all sessions. The sessions combine physical technique work, conditioning, football techniques and position specific drills. All sessions are personalized to the individual/group and is age, ability and position specific. Aswell as children ages 6-18, TLAP offer sessions for adults of all abilities, including professional footballers.Key Responsibilities • Oversee and lead the planning of all TLAP sessions ensuring high quality coaching is being implemented by all staff.• Take several TLAP sessions myself and look after the progression and football journey of those clients. Supporting areas of improvement and working alongside their squad sessions to enhance the players physical and technical ability.• Supporting other TLAP coaches with organization, session planning and session delivery. • Ensuring communication with parents and clients is consistent and clear. Supporting clients and coaches with arrangements for the timing, content and location of the sessions.

In addition to my role as a PE teacher I worked at Manchester City Football Schools as a Football Coach. This has enabled me to continue my involvement with football at a high level and I very much enjoy contributing to the development of players through the various stages of the training program. I have benefited greatly from working with the talented coaching staff and the Manchester City training philosophy and programme. Key Responsibilities • Lead a variety of football coaching/training sessions which include technical and tactical development • Work with a range of abilities and age groups based on the “City Play Model” which includes, “Move to Play” (age 3-4), “Recreation Program” (age 5-16), City Development Squads, City Select Squads and the Talented Player Program. • Support the identification of talented players for the various squads within the City model. • Supporting the organisation and running of fixtures and leagues including other teams and academies for the various development squads and teams. • Create suitable coaching sessions to focus on the “theme of the week” e.g. “positive forward play”. Each session is designed for each individual group to meet the needs and differentiate based on ability and age. Sessions are designed to have an inherent flexibility for progression and regression with the aim for all players in the session to be stretched and challenged. • For the last 2 seasons I have been involved with the elite stream “Talented Player Program” which aims to provide the top performers with a high level of coaching, providing these individuals with similar exposure to an elite academy program experience that would be delivered in the UK. This has been S&C based aswell as football coaching.

Having moved to the UAE in 2018 I took up a role in the Ministry of Education as a PE Teacher with the main goal of providing educational and exciting physical education lessons to students from a range of age groups and with a range of abilities. I have experience in developing lessons for and teaching students ranging from 5 to 18 years old. The MoE Schools follow the UAE National Curriculum which includes a wide range of sports and games. Key Responsibilities • Develop and deliver lesson plans in line with the UAE National Curriculum.• Adapt lessons to suit a range of abilities and age groups (5 to 18). • Support other teachers and staff members with other lessons, sports, teams and activities. • Provide reports on individual student’s progress and development and identify areas for improvement.

As the 1st Team Sports Scientist my role was to provide Sports Science support to the professional players and management of the team. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement weekly gym sessions aiming to improve the player’s strength, power and speed. Along with providing personalized gym programs for all players in the squad – working on improving individual areas of weakness and achieving their personal goals i.e. losing weight, increasing muscle, increasing speed and increasing strength. • Design and implement daily prehabilitation sessions in cooperation with the club Physiotherapist. These sessions are designed to prevent injuries and focus on core strength, balance, proprioception and flexibility. The sessions also enable the constant tracking of the fitness of the squad using various tests. Players were tested using lab-based VO2 Max tests, 10 and 30 metre sprint tests, 3RM strength tests and jump testing. • Creation of meal plans and specific nutritional guidelines for the training ground and stadium chefs to follow in order to ensure that players were fuelled correctly pre & post training and match days. Bespoke nutritional plans for players to use at home were also provided. • Performance Analysis - consisting of measuring and interpreting heart-rate data using polar software. Heart rate is tracked during training sessions and games which was then interpreted and presented to the Manager and coaching staff with recommendations for future training. • Working with Catapult GPS software in order to track and interpret training load and intensity for in-depth analysis of training sessions. I analysed the data for the coaching staff including; total distance covered, high intensity distance and top speed.

As Head Coach I was responsible for the development of the various coaching sessions that were delivered to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th teams with an aim to delivering a common coaching philosophy across all levels. This role was undertaken around my job at Oxford United and used my evenings and weekends. The coaching sessions centred on high quality technical drills along with tactical drills such as shape and set piece work. I delivered the coaching sessions to the 1st team 3 days per week, in addition to match day. During my 3 seasons as a coach, the team achieved 2 league promotions and 2 varsity cup wins.
